Ah, Provence…

As the weather is so amazingly cold and miserable at the moment, we’d thought we post a bit of summer sunshine on the blog. This wedding we shot at the absolutely stunning Château de Robernier in Provence, France last September was beautiful. Add the facts that Ronan, Brinda & their families were so warm and sweet and that the food they served up was definitely some of the best we ate all year, this has to have been one of our most pleasurable experiences as wedding photographers. We can’t wait to go back to Provence this year for a few more weddings. If you’ve not been there, go! It’s basically the most beautiful place in the world.

Christmas by the sea

Yesterday we left Bordeaux behind to spend ten days in Biarritz. Today the sun was shining and people were actually swimming in the sea it was that warm. Christmas will feel weird here but I’m not complaining.

Here are some photo’s from a wintery wedding that Jonny shot in October at Gaynes Park in Epping, Essex. Dave & Cathy are a young London couple who, as you can see, were a pleasure to photograph. They did a great job organising their own wedding which was full of their own DIY personal touches.

Style Me Pretty – Destination Weddings

Today, Style Me Pretty were kind enough to feature another of our weddings on their blog. You can view the feature in the ‘Destination Weddings’ section here. Gemma & Mark’s wedding in Tuscany, Italy has to be one of our favourites from this year so we’re really pleased to see it published on such a popular blog. You can see more photos from this wedding in our portfolio section or on in the Style Me Pretty gallery. Along with Gemma & Mark, Rossana Sapori from ‘Weddings in Italy‘ should not go without a mention for putting together such an amazing wedding at Villa Fontelunga.

Below are some images from the second half of what has been an amazing summer for us. Just a few more weddings to go and we can start looking forward to the next one.

A non-wedding related post but anyway… In July, Jonny did a few days shooting for Company Magazine’s bi-annual publication, ‘Company Street-Style Edit’. So in the Autumn/Winter 2012 edition (out now) there are 15 pages featuring his portraits of some lovely ladies working in high street fashion. Here’s a little peek.

Style Me Pretty

We are quite proud that yesterday U.S wedding blog, Style Me Pretty featured our work. You can see the post on the Canadian wedding we shot earlier this summer by clicking here. Thanks to Camille and Chris for having us photograph your amazing wedding and for being such an incredibly photogenic couple!

Château de Brindos

The majority of weddings we’re shooting this summer are at wine producing Château’s in South West France, however the exclusive Château de Brindos hotel has to be one of our favourite venues. Hidden away in Biarritz amongst an abundance of greenery and next to the largest privately owned lake in France it is a stunning setting for your wedding ceremony, reception or even honeymoon. Some of these photos from wedding’s we’ve photographed there this summer show the kind of event the brilliant staff at Brindos are capable of putting on.

Last month we shot the wedding of Lausanne based couple, Olivia & Marc just outside Geneva. Photographing the same wedding in two different countries was a first for us, but both the church on the Swiss side of the border and Chateau d’Avully in Brenthonne just a few miles away in France were great places to shoot. We look forward to heading back to the Geneva area for a few days later this month for another Chateau wedding. You can see more from Olivia & Marc’s wedding in the portfolio section of our website.
